Welcome to Meridio. By downloading, installing, or using the Meridio application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Meridio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Meridio is an MCAT preparation application that provides:

Flashcards with spaced repetition learning
Practice questions and study materials
Progress tracking and analytics
Competitive multiplayer study modes
Leaderboards and achievement systems

3. Subscription Terms

Important Subscription Information:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
Transmit viruses or malicious code
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Use automated systems to access the App
Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the App

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Meridio are owned by Meridio LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (such as custom flashcards or notes). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content within the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. MERIDIO IS A STUDY AID AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC TEST SCORES OR OUTCOMES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MERIDIO LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms in the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
